Managing Director

Jeffrey Brophy is a renowned figure in the real estate sector, blending his construction expertise with a keen understanding of property management. 

Commencing his professional journey in the construction industry, Jeffrey refined his skills as a Quantity Surveyor, gaining invaluable insights into construction sector. This experience laid a solid foundation for his future endeavors in real estate.

Fueled by a passion for the real estate industry, Jeffrey pursued further education, obtaining a Master’s degree in Property Management & Investment. This academic pursuit broadened his skill set, preparing him for a dynamic career in real estate.

Jeffrey’s venture into the real estate realm began with his position at a distinguished Waterford-based real estate firm. Subsequently, he extended his expertise to Dublin, joining one of Ireland’s top real estate agencies. In this new environment, Jeffrey further refined his skills, acquired valuable insights, and cultivated a deep understanding of the local property market.

In 2015, driven by a vision of providing exceptional real estate services, Jeffrey, alongside his business partner David Cusack, founded Brophy Cusack. 

Jeffrey’s expertise, rooted in his construction background and enriched by his academic achievements, positions him as a trusted advisor in the real estate landscape. His transition from Quantity Surveyor to real estate entrepreneur epitomizes his dedication to exceeding client expectations.

A member of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV) and a recognized TEGOVA European Residential Valuer, Jeffrey specializes in residential sales, both new and second-hand, commercial sales and lettings, as well as residential site sales and development advice.

Managing Director

David is a dedicated and seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the dynamic field of estate agency. As a co-founder of Brophy Cusack, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s success. David’s expertise spans a wide spectrum of real estate matters, showcasing his proficiency in handling diverse aspects of property transactions.

His client portfolio is a testament to his standing in the industry, as he represents financial institutions, private investment funds, receivers, asset managers, and private clients. David’s commitment to excellence is evident in his comprehensive approach to property transactions, where he navigates intricacies on behalf of his clients with precision and strategic insight.

His involvement spans investments, sales, purchases, and commercial leases of various commercial properties, ranging from office blocks to hotels and licensed premises. This breadth of experience reflects his versatility and ability to adapt to the unique challenges presented by different types of properties.

David’s journey in the real estate industry began with a solid foundation, having completed his training with a local Auctioneering firm. His dedication to professional growth and continuous learning led him to qualify as a licensed Estate Agent in 2015. Since then, he has been a driving force behind Brophy Cusack’s success, contributing his skills and insights to the firm’s reputation as a trusted player in the real estate market.

With a proven track record, a wealth of experience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service, David stands as a key figure in the success story of Brophy Cusack, embodying the values of expertise, integrity, and client-focused professionalism.

Sales & Lettings Agent

In August 2020, Sarah became a vital member of the Brophy Cusack team, assuming the role of Operations Manager. With a background in law studies at SETU, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her position. Throughout her tenure as Operations Manager, Sarah delved deeper into the property service sector, ultimately embarking on the Auctioneering and Property Service Apprenticeship at Morrison’s Island Campus in Cork, where she aims to obtain her qualification by May 2024.

Sarah’s diverse experience encompasses various facets of the business, including residential sales and lettings, commercial lettings, and auctions. Her dedication and proficiency within the property sector were recognized in October 2023 when she was honored with a nomination for Apprentice of the Year 2023, underscoring her hard work and expertise.

Bachelor of laws (Hon) (LL.B) (SETU) 

Currently studying Auctioneering and Property Services Apprenticeship at Cork college of commerce

Office Manager

Saoirse became an integral part of the Brophy Cusack team in July 2022, bringing with her a wealth of experience in customer service, sales, and marketing. Holding a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from SETU, where she specialized in business with a focus on human resource management, Saoirse’s educational background aligns seamlessly with her professional journey.

In her role as the Office Manager at Brophy Cusack, Saoirse is at the heart of the company’s day-to-day operations. Her responsibilities extend across various facets of the business, showcasing her versatility and adeptness in handling diverse tasks. Saoirse plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the office, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of Brophy Cusack. Her background in human resource management adds an extra layer of expertise, enabling her to engage with internal processes and personnel management with a strategic perspective. This comprehensive skill set positions Saoirse as a valuable asset, facilitating the cohesive and organized functioning of Brophy Cusack on a daily basis.
